When selecting a limousine for your special night you’ll be comforted by the more than twenty-five years of experience our company has in providing prom service. Our chauffeurs are trained to treat you with the respect and dignity you desire.

Reserve your prom limo as early as you can because there are usually not enough limousines for the demand. Typically during prom season we do have a six (6) hour minimum, which is usually the minimum you’ll need for that night. When you reserve we will send to you a prom contract so you understand the specific rules of prom rental and you know your reservation is set. Because this is a peak demand time of year your rental must be paid in advance.

According to state law: There can be NO ALCOHOL in the limousine if any ONE person is under the age of 21. This law is strictly enforced by not only our company but also most prom locations screen for alcohol use by prom guests as they enter. For you to have the best time possible please refrain from sneaking alcohol into the vehicle.

We DO NOT do Proms with Party Buses

If you want a bus, try one of those big yellow school bus things…

The government in all its inestimable wisdom no longer allows good limousine operators who pass CHP vehicle and driver inspections to drive party buses and limousines that seat 10 or more passengers for Prom. Party Buses can be rented by teens ANY other day of the year, just not the night it is needed.

In a country built on FREEDOM the government’s drive to over-regulate your lives now dictates to you when you can and cannot rent a party bus.

In their brilliance “with the expressed intent of mandating the highest level of safety for school pupils” they are putting school pupil’s lives at serious risk:

• According to their own National Highway Traffic Safety Administration statistics, in the months of May and June of each year teen alcohol related traffic deaths skyrocket due to proms and graduations.
• Now, hundreds of party buses and SUV limousines throughout California will be ineligible to drive “students below the 12th grade level” to Prom thereby putting thousands of teens behind the wheel of their own cars placing them in serious risk of a teen death statistic.

For many years it has been on the shoulders of limousine operators to keep alcohol away from Prom passengers while on their Party Buses.

• Now, remove the professional adult chauffeur trying to keep the kids safe…
• Remove the safety inspected vehicle…
• Then put thousands of un-chaperoned and overly brave teens behind the wheels of their own cars = teen alcohol related traffic deaths soar (source NHTSA).
• Please thank the government for keeping the teens in this State so much safer!

Sure we could attempt to jump through the State’s regulation nightmare hoops and their “strict vehicle and licensing requirements (Section 545VC & 546VC)”, get the extra permits required and the extra training to turn professional and safe limousine bus chauffeurs into professional and safe school bus drivers. But at what cost to us and you?

• $2500(?) School Pupil Activity Bus fee, split that between the 5 prom nights each year and add an extra $500 to your prom rental
• Add 24 extra hours of training to each driver by a certified trainer, another $500 to your prom rental?
• Add in the expense of having to set up a contract with each individual school to provide this transportation.
• Add the extra vehicle modifications and inspections to pass a completely different set of rules and regulations, another $500 anyone?
• Very few limousine operators will even attempt to do this so the few that remain have no reason to discount or provide low hour minimums, so lets say the hour minimum goes from 4 hours to ten hours, without competition your rate and hourly minimum goes up by $1125.00
• Will any of this reduce the almost zero incident rates at all?
• (NOTE: these fees could be totally wrong since the information was received by various government agencies that really don’t want to be quoted.)

So, what may have cost you a reasonable $750 to rent a party bus for your Prom now costs $3375.00! So when the government gets involved it suddenly becomes unaffordable for you and us.

The bottom Line is:

• YOU CANNOT rent a Party Bus from us for your Prom.
• YOU CAN rent a limousine for no more than 8 passengers from us.
Maybe the whole SCHOOL related Prom needs to be a thing of the past and you just make up your own dance: “The NON-Prom” It is the “school activity” words in your Prom contract that makes it illegal for us to drive you to that event.
Rent the Party Bus the Friday night before your Prom and save the money you would have paid the school for their prom tickets.

• NOTE: if any other service agrees to rent any limousine for 10 passengers or more, ASK to SEE their SBAP PERMIT or your night could be filled with disappointment!

NOTE: DO NOT think that you can get around this by having an adult rent the party bus and you hop on instead; our fees will be due in full and we will not drive you to Prom under any circumstances, because:

• The Government will impound our vehicle,
• Which means you’ll be walking… to the bank to pay every fee relating to the impounding of our vehicle (AB2572) including the thousands of dollars of down time while they hold our vehicle hostage.
• Estimated cost (including driver ticket, towing, impound, loss of use) about $10,000.00

You do not need to wait for a Prom to hire a party bus. They and our chauffeurs are inspected by the California Highway Patrol and deemed SAFE. Just, somehow, magically, they are not safe on your Prom night…
